This iconic Durban event gets a major shot in the arm in 2020!

Still on the Freedom Day long weekend, the road race on Sunday now has an extra option. Serious roadies can take on the new 111km route, while the popular M4 loop to Mdlodti and back will host the 45km and 90 options, all under full road closure.

Now MTB lover get a brand new race, starting at CycleLab Cornubia and heading out towards Holla Trails, with options of 20km and 40km on the Saturday. That is appealing even for roadies with a long ride planned for Sunday!

Also on Saturday, the future generation of cycling stars get their moment i8n the spot;ight with a new kids Trike and baby bike race.

On Saturday there will also be a race dedicated to the talent emerging from the KZN Cycling Development programme.

The aQuellé Tour Durban remains a #Race4Good as all the race proceeds go to the Domino Foundation that does incredible work in a wide variety of programmes for the needy communities in and around Amaoti north of Durban.
