The 2019 aQuellé Tour Durban, presented by Bridge Fund Managers, has once again made a significant contribution to the efforts of the Domino Foundation by donating the organisation R300 000 from the successful event hosted at the end of April.

Club Cappuccino has raised a substantial amount of money for the Domino Foundation over the years and there have been a number of success stories that have resulted from this funding.

Gary Harman, trustee of Club Cappuccino and part of the Tour Durban organising committee, believes that the relationship has been such a success due to the many shared values of both organisations.

“From a relationship point of view it is probably the fact that we share a similar ethos in that we have worked towards the common goal of trying to make an impact in the local community through the Tour Durban,” Harman said.

“They have been a conduit for us to tap into the incredible work they do.”

The event has exceeded their previous year’s donations year-on-year by 50%, increasing by R100 000 from the R200 000 raised in 2018.
