The 2026 aQuellé Tour Durban officially launches at 8am on Monday (27th October) when the first round of discounted entries open on the Entry Ninja entry portal.

The new-look aQuellé Tour Durban will take place on Sunday, 19th April 2026 with some innovations and an exciting invitation-only race for those riders that are looking to chase the prizes. 

However, as the saying goes, you have to be in it to win it, so the first step is to grab an entry and from Monday – for a strictly limited time only – riders will only pay 85% of the entry fee. This discount applies to all races. 

NOTE: 96km entrants wanting to be considered for an invitation to the 100km race must indicate this when entering (or update their entry to indicate this before 31st March, 2026) and must have a valid 2026 Domestic Racing Licence.

SERIES RESULTS

Last weekend was the Biggarsberg Road Challenge in Dundee with David Shelley claiming a convincing victory over Gavin Shelley, with Carl Calverley rounding off the podium. In the women's race Jordin Sandy edged out Lerina Hepburn with Zamajibhela Mazibuko third. 

The Biggarsberg event was also the second leg of the The Hills and Waves Road Cycling Series presented by MD24, and both winners moved to the top of their respective standings on the logs (see latest standings here). 

The Dundee event was also the opening leg of the KZN Cycling Schools Road Series presented by aQuellé with the first riders in the U13, U15 and Open age categories qualifying for the series final which will be held in conjunction with the Tour Durban 2026 aQuellé Tour Durban.
