Covid Protocols

Please note that the Covid-19 protocols published on this page may be subject to change should the national government change the national alert levels. You will be advised by email of any pertinent changes, should they come into effect.

  • All entrants will be sent a Covid – 19 declaration form together with their race entry details prior to registration that they need to print and complete and bring to registration.
  • At registration, each person’s temperature will be taken and recorded on the form they return, and these will be kept for record purposes.
  • All standard protocols will be in place – physical distancing, sanitising of hands and wearing of masks where pertinent.
  • Riders will be allowed into the start chutes from 15 minutes before their group is due to start and this process will be managed by Covid marshals.
  • All entrants will be required to wear a mask until just prior to them starting their race.
  • Upon completion of the ride, they will be required to wear their masks again.
  • There will be no protocol ceremonies after the event.
  • Upon completion of the event, riders will make their way to the designated areas, receive their medal and refreshments and will then move on to the car park where they can prepare to leave.
